T.A.P.S.
T.A.P.S. was formed in 1994 by Tom Cooper. His vision was to supply and/or repair pumps and seals within 24 hours of an order being placed. This ethos has been maintained up to the present time and T.A.P.S. is now synonymous with speedy service and quality repairs. Naturally, the company has BS EN ISO9001:2000 approval.

T.A.P.S. now provides a nationwide service for the collection and delivery of pumps and seals from a variety of industries and is able to repair and supply any type from any manufacturer. Dynamic testing facilities are available for all pump types and full pressure testing is available when required. The Company also offers to provide photographic images with quotations when requested and can also provide site service work which includes laser alignment.

New Premises
T.A.P.S. has recently moved into brand new premises in the much sought after Leeds Road area of Huddersfield. The unit, including purpose-built offices, extends to in excess of 11,000 sq. ft. (1,020 sq. m.).

Heavy investment has been made in new equipment, including two cranes, which, when operated singly can lift 5 tonnes and 10 tonnes respectively, but in tandem are able to lift 15 tonnes.

Technology
All this enables T.A.P.S. to boast one of the best repair shops in the business. The largest of pumps can be handled with ease and a dedicated booth for washing down the dirtiest of pumps gives the Company a head start on its competition.

The latest technology is an integral part of the new shot blasting machine and a made to measure spray paint booth, together with a purpose built dynamic test machine, completes the picture.
